Climate Finance Training

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has been established to support transformational change towards climate-resilient development. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has entrusted GIZ and KfW Development Bank to support countries to access finance from the GCF through the Climate Finance Readiness Program. Tajikistan requested GIZ to provide institutional support and inform Government agencies and ministries on the opportunities and challenges of different climate finance instruments. UNIQUE supported the GIZ in the preparation and execution of a two day training workshop and a high-level briefing to inform all the ministries about the GCF and broader climate finance opportunities and challenges.
