Regulationspolitik landwirtschaftlicher Lieferketten
The production of agricultural commodities like cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, bananas, soy and cotton often comes with severe economic, social and environmental challenges such as child labor, deforestation and overfishing. The Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains and Standards program of the GIZ advises the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on sustainability issues along global agricultural supply chains. GIZ commissioned UNIQUE to conduct a study to provide an overview of the various regulatory options that currently exist both at the EU and national level. UNIQUE performed an in-depth analysis of the selected regulations and recommendations with regard to their feasibility.
