Ex-Post Evaluation for the "Pendjari Park Trust Fund” Project"

The KfW Development Bank carries out evaluations of its financial cooperation portfolios funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the evaluation of randomly selected projects. These ex-post evaluations are carried out along the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Development Assistance Committee evaluation criteria, and the systematic determination of intended and unintended impacts. One project to be evaluated was the establishment of a trust fund for the Pendjari National Park in Benin, which extends into Niger and Burkina Faso. Due to its demonstrated experience in evaluating international development projects, Unique was commissioned by KfW to conduct the ex-post evaluation of the trust fund.
