Within the World Food Program, Sudan’s scope of work has a number of activities with potential to generate carbon credits. In particular, UNIQUE investigated programmatic and project-based Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) activities related to fuel efficient stoves, fire-fuel briquettes, tree planting and soil carbon sequestration.
