Achieving sustainable forest and ecosystem management requires well-planned financing, making viable funding options essential. Unique was tasked by the World Bank to lead a sub-component of the regional EU4Environment program, supporting the EU’s Eastern Partner (EaP) countries in preserving natural capital and improving well-being. The assignment focused on enhancing strategic financing for forestry and natural resource management in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, including identifying innovative financing mechanisms, providing analytical and advisory support for investment plans, and fostering regional collaboration through a multi-stakeholder workshop.
