Analyse des Landnutzungssektors

Kyrgyzstan’s Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector offers great potential for raising the ambition of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) through the synergies and multiple benefits provided by adaptation and mitigation actions. Kyrgyzstan applied for support through the NDC Partnership’s Climate Action Enhancement Package. The objective of this assignment was to provide clear and comprehensive recommendations for adaptation and mitigation measures and their effective integration into the Kyrgyz NDC. UNIQUE was commissioned to conduct a detailed analysis of the AFOLU sector in order to understand the status of its sub-sectors, the greenhouse gas emission profiles, and the observed and anticipated climate change impacts.
