Digital Forest Census – APP and Dashboard

Guatemala faces the challenge of digitizing sustainable forest concession management in the Maya Biosphere Reserve while enhancing transparency and improving data management efficiency. The Asociación de Comunidades Forestales de Petén (ACOFOP) brings together 24 community organizations committed to biodiversity conservation and the socioeconomic development of local communities. The project aimed to develop a digital Traceability Information System (SITAF) to standardize the collection, analysis, and reporting of forest inventories, census data, and harvesting plans.
