Client

KfW

Against the backdrop of a continued degradation of natural resources in Madagascar, the Participatory Erosion Control Program (PLAE) has been working on reforesting and securing sites vulnerable to deforestation since the early 2000s. PLAE provides farmers with incentives such as tenure security and income from wood and agroforestry products. UNIQUE was commissioned to support KfW throughout the project cycle: project design and setup, procurement and recruitment and management of implementation consultants, impact monitoring and results reporting.

  • Provide ongoing support to the program manager at KfW on multiple aspects of the PLAE programme
  • Participate in regular in-country control missions
